Oliver Norwood’s capture from Brighton and Hove Albion has proven to be a small masterstroke from manager Chris Wilder as the Northern Ireland international has quickly established himself as a key part of the first team squad.
The 27-year-old joined us over the summer transfer window officially on a loan spell, but one that is said to turn automatically permanent come the opening of January’s business.
He already has 15 starting appearance to his name and opened his club goal account in the heavy victory over Aston Villa back at the beginning of September.
With each game, he impresses plenty with his individual performances and although his goal tally can improve, he’s also registered three assists and is one of our top performers according to statistics website Whoscored.
With the November international break in full flow, but Norwood being given a break by Northern Ireland as he’s suspended for their upcoming Nations League tie, on Thursday the clubs’ social media team Tweeted a short video clip of an absolutely exquisite pass from the player and he duly took his praise.
