Brentford have announced that Sheffield United’s visit to Griffin Park in March has been reset 24 hours earlier than originally scheduled.

Sheffield United were due to head to Griffin Park on Saturday March 31, but following agreement between both clubs the game will now in fact take place on Good Friday (March 30) and will carry a 3pm kick off time.

Brentford have good form in Easter fixtures in recent seasons, they achieved promotion to the Championship on Good Friday in 2014 and 12 months later they came out as four one winners over rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage. Last season they hit four again at Griffin Park as they hosted Derby County.

With us ending our six year stay in the third tier of professional football, breaking the 100 barrier on the way to the title and automatic promotion I’m pretty sure Chris Wilder won’t be superstitious about us getting the rest at this time of asking.
