In a new book written by Blades forum regular Roger Barnard (broomhill blade) the Jimmy Hagan story is told.
Legend is a word that is applied too freely at times but there can be no doubt that it is justified in the case of Jimmy Hagan. If his talent wasn’t enough, this is a man who refused to sign for Wednesday with a then record transfer bid sat on the table!
After his time at the Lane, Hagan went on to manage Peterborough, West Bromwich Albion and then at Eusebio’s Benfica.
The book is available from the Blades Superstore and would make a fantastic Christmas present for those hard to buy for Dads and Grandads!
