Rob Kozluk pulled up with a hamstring in the 4-0 win over Millwall. Our longest serving player will now miss the Yorkshire derby clash v Leeds on Friday. Unsworth also had a hamstring twinge but should be ok.

Blades fans have been told by the club that the offers of free lighters and ringtones around the ground on match days is not an official promotion and that they should avoid ‘the so called offer’.

Neil Shipperley is waiting for the results of tests to see if they explain a lack of energy that he suffers from late on in games. Warnock revealed the player had three blood samples taken on the day of the game v Wolves. ‘Neil has complained of a lack of energy in the last half hour of games since he came here and we don’t know what has caused it, whether it could be a dietary thing or something to do with his blood. It’s not an age thing because although he might look 45 he is actually only coming up to 31 – I think he might just need a can of lager at half-time!’ Who needs doctors when you have football managers eh!?!

Lilian Nalis has explained that he has been forced into a loan move to Coventry because of the Blade’s great form. ‘I decided to go to Coventry because I need games – that’s the important thing. United just kept on winning and it is tough to keep waiting. At the moment I’m still a Sheffield United player. I’ve got a contract here and I’m always looking to play for the first team but I’ll do this month at Coventry and then assess the situation.’

Full-back Chris Armstrong is also off on his travels, having agreed a loan deal to play for Blackpool in the hopes he can prove to himself that his knee has recovered and is up to the demands of The Championship football. The player has until November to decide whether he can continue in the professional game. Warnock said ‘I’ve had a chat with Chris and he knows he will be offered a new contract here if he continues but we are leaving it solely upto him.’ Armstrong has only managed 16 games for The Blades since his 2003 move from Oldham, due to a series of operations on his knee problem.
