Sheffield United have been told to expect the “most aggressive” and “most horrible” team when they play Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town, when the Championship season resumes.

Mark Fotheringham has recently issued a warning to Sheffield United and his own players. Huddersfield Town are currently at the bottom of the league and Fotheringham has told his players that there is only one way out of trouble for his side and that is hard work.

The Terriers are set to endure a training camp over in Spain and whilst they are there, they will play at least one friendly to prepare for the 10th of December against Sheffield United.

Meanwhile Sheffield United have chosen to stay at home in the steel city for their preparation, and they will play Rotherham United and potentially another local friendly behind-closed-doors.

Paul Heckingbottom’s men will resume in second spot, three points behind leaders Burnley, and they are set to welcome back a number of injured players.

Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe have been working hard for the past couple of weeks to get back to full fitness. Sander Berge is also said to be getting along well in his rehab, along with Rhys Norrington-Davies. While Tommy Doyle and John Fleck have had a good rest during this international break.
