Sheffield United and Fulham will have to do it all again after drawing 1-1 in the FA Cup at Bramall Lane.

The blades looked to be on their way to securing a second Premier League scalp in this year`s competition when they went in ahead at half time thanks to a goal from Chris Porter. The game was flipped on its head early in the second half when Michael Doyle was shown a straight red card for an altercation with Chris David.

Despite their numerical advantage, Fulham were struggling to find a way past a stubborn United rear-guard but they eventually earned a replay with 15-minutes remaining when Hugo Rodallega beat George Long with a low shot from the edge of the area.

Both sides had strong claims for penalties waved away by referee Andre Marriner. Rodallega went down after going over George Long just minutes after United had gone ahead but his appeals were waved away.

In the second half, Aaron Hughes looked to have caught blades winger Ryan Flynn but once again, the appeals were waved away.

Flynn had come closest to doubling the blades lead shortly after Doyle had been sent off. The winger got in behind the Fulham defence but David Stockdale denied him, saving with his feet.

Fulham piled the pressure on after their equaliser. Philippe Senderos came close when his header hit the bar and Adel Taraabt saw his long-range effort go just wide in injury time.
