Sheffield United have a rearranged league 1 fixtures this midweek as we look to beat a promotion rival.

Sheffield United take on Milton Keynes Dons at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night in a rearranged fixture that was previously called-off due to international call-ups for our opponents back along.

Nigel Clough is hopeful that Chris O’Grady, signed on loan on transfer deadline day, will be fit enough to make his debut after missing out against Notts County in our one-one draw on Friday night.

It isn’t anticipated that we’ll have any fresh injury concerns.

MK Dons hope to have Kyle McFadzean fit after he was taken off ‘as a precaution’ in a six-nil demolition of Colchester United at the weekend. Dean Lewington (hamstring) is missing.

Ahead of the game boss Clough told BBC Radio Sheffield: ‘I think new faces can just give everybody a lift sometimes. Chris is something different to what we have.

‘My biggest concern is the soft goals that we are conceding. We’ve had to come back from behind in our last two home games to get a point.

‘There’s a bit of a gap opening up between the top six and the chasing pack so if we can get a good result that will help that.’
