Sheffield United head to Victoria Park tonight in this JPT second round tie to take on struggling league 2 outfit Hartlepool United.
Hartlepool will be under caretakers Sam Collins and Stephen Pears for the first time following Colin Cooper’s weekend resignation. Jack Compton and defender Stuart Parnaby (both knee) are doubtful and David Atkinson (hamstring) is definitely out.
We will definitely be missing Michael Higdon (suspension), he starts his three-match ban following a straight red card in the three-two defeat to Chesterfield at the weekend but Chris Porter should return, having been left out of that squad.
Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Mark McNulty, Bob Harris and Ben Davies are all options for Nigel Clough.
