Sheffield United boss Danny Wilson says new loan signing Dominic Poleon will give the side a new dimension.

The 19-year-old, who can play both in attack and on the wing, has signed for Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the season from Leeds United.

Poleon has made his breakthrough in the Leeds first team this season, playing seven times for the championship side. He scored on his only start against Nottingham Forest in September before a successful loan spell with League One strugglers Bury.

Wilson believes the youngsters unpredictability will cause the opposition defence plenty of problems during his time at Bramall Lane.

Speaking on the Sheffield United official website , Wilson said, ‘He is young, raw and unpredictable, but he is quick and offers pace defenders won’t like to defend against.

‘He can offer us a lot both in terms of starting games and also as an impact substitution from the bench”.

Poleon will complete his move on Saturday morning on a 93-day loan, so that he is available for the remainder of the season. Leeds have included a 24-hour recall clause in the deal.
