Sheffield United booked their place in the FA Cup Third Round with a comfortable 2-0 win at Cambridge United in what many saw as a potential banana-skin.

The blades went through with a goal in each half from Jose Baxter and Jamie Murphy.

The United defence again looked strong at the back and goalkeeper George Long continued his good form with some important saves.

Jose Baxter scored his second goal in blades colours with a superb strike and Jamie Murphy came off the bench to score a crucial second when he cut in from the left to beat the Cambridge goalkeeper.

So who was your Blades man of the match?

  • I thought Murphy did very well in an unfamiliar position. Baxter probably had his best game for the club and the bonus of a great goal.
