New Sheffield United boss David Weir has been busy in the transfer market bringing four new players into the club today.

24-year-old Walsall winger Febian Brandy has signed a two-year deal with the club after coming to the end of his deal with the Saddlers.

The former Manchester United youngster was a big hit at Walsall last season where he made 37 appearances, scoring seven goals.

24-year-old Stephen McGinn, who was released by Watford at the end of last season, has also signed a two-year deal. The midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at League One side Shrewsbury Town where he made 18 appearances.

19-year-old Sean McGinty has also signed a two-year deal at Bramall Lane following his release from Manchester United at the end of last season.

The defender failed to make a senior appearance for Manchester United and he had short loan spells at Oxford United, Carlisle United and Tranmere Rovers last season.

Jasper Johns has signed a one-year deal from David Weir`s former club Everton.

The youngster can play in midfield or at left full back and he is described as being a tall and physical player on the Everton official website.
