Sheffield United have been handed a home draw against Burton Albion in the Capital One League Cup.

It is the second season in a row that United have been drawn against the League Two side in the first round of the competition.

Last season, Burton caused an upset at Bramall Lane when they went through 5-4 on penalties.

United twice went behind in the tie. Nick Blackman cancelled out an Adi Yussuf goal in normal time to send the tie to extra time.

Cleveland Taylor put Burton ahead for a second time in the first half of extra time, only for United defender Neil Collins to equalise for a second time.

Despite Burton being forced to play the final fifteen minutes with ten men after Marcus Holness was sent off, they managed to hang on and send the game to a penalty shoot-out.

Harry Maguire and Mike Doyle missed during the penalty shoot-out to send Burton through.

The first round ties will take place week commencing 5th August.
