Sheffield United are amongst the seeded clubs for the Capital One League Cup First Round draw, which is announced on Monday 17th June.

The draw is once again regionalised with the ties based on Northern and Southern Sections and it will be announced on Monday at 9.30am.

United are one of the eighteen teams in the Northern Section seeded due to their final league position at the end of the 2012/13 season.

Last season, United went out in the first round when they were beaten 5-4 on penalties by League Two side Burton Albion after the game had finished 2-2 at Bramall Lane.

The first round ties will take place week commencing August 5th.
