New Sheffield United boss David Weir looks set to get a helping hand from new Manchester United boss David Moyes.

Moyes looks set to help his former Everton coach by loaning him a couple of United youngsters according to reports.

Scott Wootton and Will Keane are both being linked with loan moves to Bramall Lane to gain first team experience.

21-year-old Wootton is a versatile defender, who can play at centre back or at left back.

Wootton made four appearances for United last season and he has also had loan spells with Tranmere Rovers, Peterborough United and Nottingham Forest.

20-year-old Keane is a striker, who has represented England at four levels, including under-21.

The young striker has made just one senior appearance so far for United.
