Sheffield United boss Chris Morgan could welcome back Danny Higginbotham to the squad for the play-off first leg against Yeovil Town.

The experienced defender was not risked last weekend and he has been given an extra week to recover from his recent injury.

Fellow defender Tony McMahon is still struggling with the Achilles injury he picked up at Portsmouth last month.

Jonathan Forte is also a doubt with a hamstring injury. The on loan forward returned to training on Thursday and Morgan will assess him ahead of the game on Friday.

Lescinel Jean-Francois, Diego De Girolamo, Richard Cresswell and Shaun Miller all remain on the sidelines through injury.

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson also as a number of players struggling to be fit in time for the game.

Johnson could have a headache in defence with Byron Webster, Jamie McAllister and Dan Burke all struggling to be fit in time for the first leg.

Nathan Ralph and Matt Dolan are also struggling to make the game through injury.

Johnson will welcome Reuben Reid into his squad after the striker returned from his loan spell at Plymouth Argyle.
