SUFC Season over for Cuvelier

Sheffield United midfielder Florent Cuvelier has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury on his Port Vale debut.

The 21-year-old has suffered an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury just 36 minutes into his Vale debut against Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

Cuvelier joined Vale last week on loan for the remainder of the season after struggling since arriving at Bramall Lane in September.

The Belgian had made just eight appearances for the blades after signing from Premier League side Stoke City.
