Geoff Eltringham will be the man in charge when Sheffield United travel to Preston North End on Saturday.
The Northeast official has taken charge of 23 games so far this season showing 77 yellow cards and 4 reds.
The last time he was in charge of Preston was the 1-1 home draw with Tranmere Rovers in November.
He was last in charge of United in November when they were beaten 2-1 at home by Gillingham.
