Let`s move up!

What a great result on Saturday. 2-0 at home, and hopefully we can keep this momentum going now.

I`m glad Flynn`s getting back on form; he`s taken some stick as well during the early half of the season, but seems to be getting some good strikes in at the moment.

I`m also glad the new lad, Scougall scored as well. It`s just a pity that the front two aren`t knocking them in often at the moment. My lad said that he thought Scougall`s goal wasn`t going to go in and was surprised when it did. I saw the goal highlights later that evening, and thought it was a pretty good strike from that far out. It`s nice to see players having a crack from distance, rather than trying to walk the ball into the net, like we were at the beginning of the season.

Maguire remains top scorer as well. I`m happy for him to be getting so many goals, and assists, however, this must highlight that the forwards we have aren`t up to the mark. We still have two games in hand over Bristol City and Shrewsbury, so taking six points from the games in hand could get us up near mid table.

The mid week match will be a tough one though, against Brentford, but at least it`s at BDTBL and the lads will have to dig deep, following 120 minutes of football against Fulham and then the win last Saturday. Hopefully we can turn things around and get the confidence from our last two games back into play, and push for the win.

We`ll be losing our British Forces TV shortly as well, which will be a bit of a downer for us out here. I`ll have to hang on for the updates on the web for the scores. But as ever, I`ll be following the results somehow!

The emergency loan period is in force now, and I`m assuming that NC has got what he needs for the time being, with an outlook to reinforce over the close season during the summer months. I had read that his main aim is to stay up in League One, and I suppose this is fair enough, looking at our position at the moment. It makes sense not to rush in and grab anyone that`s available, and probably best for him to look during the summer to bring in some permanent signings.

As always though
