Another good result over the weekend got us up to 12th in the table. To be honest, it`s a very tight division this year, and we aren`t that far from moving up further before the close season. It`s not all that far to the play offs and on the other hand there are not that many points below us either! Although, we do have the advantage of a few games in hand.
I, like many others, were confused over the players coming in and leaving Bramall Lane, especially in the January transfer window. There were some surprises on the ones that left, even out on loan, however, I can see by reading the Star that NC is trying to assess what he has to work with and not rush into bringing anyone else in, until the close season, where he`ll be able to look at what`s available.
It`s going to make an exciting finish to the season if we continue to get good results and pick up maximum points. I just wish I was there to see the rest of the season!
I`ll be glued to the TV tomorrow (Sky Sports News) to see if we can nick it against Peterborough. There are a couple of injuries at the moment, but hopefully the guys should be okay for the match.
I`m really excited that we have the chance to progress in the cup as well – next weekend`s game against Charlton will be a decent match I reckon, plus it`s on home turf, so hopefully we can progress and get the chance of another trip to Wembley!
