Sheffield United goalkeeper George Long was once again a spectator from the bench as England drew their second group E game at the under-20 World Cup.

Young Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone once again got the nod in goal ahead of both Long and Middlesbrough goalkeeper Connor Ripley as England came from behind to draw 1-1 with Chile.

Chile went ahead just past the half hour when Nicolas Castillo scored from the penalty spot.

England hit back just past the hour when Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane fired home from the edge of the penalty area.

In the final ten minutes, both sides went close to winning the game. Kane could only head straight at Chile goalkeeper Dario Melo from close range and Bryan Rabello saw his long-range effort cannon back off the crossbar at the other end.

England now face Egypt in their final group game on Saturday, needing a win if they are to stand any chance of finishing in the top two in the group.

The top two automatically qualify for the last sixteen whilst the four best-placed third placed teams from the six groups will also go through.

Vital Sheffield United will keep you up to date with how England and Long do throughout the competition.
