Vital Sheffield United looks at how the League One table looks after the games on Saturday.
With the lunchtime kick off at Bramall Lane between second placed Brentford and fourth placed Sheffield United being called off due to heavy snow in Sheffield, Doncaster Rovers and Bournemouth were the big winners in League One.
Doncaster Rovers took their opportunity to increase their lead at the top of the table with a 3-2 win at Scunthorpe United and they are now five points clear of Swindon, Bournemouth and Brentford.
Swindon jumped above Brentford and into the automatic promotion places but they will be disappointed after being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Notts County. It is now five games without a home win for Swindon, who are back in action when Oldham Athletic visit the County Ground on Friday.
Bournemouth are right back in the automatic promotion picture after a 4-1 home win over relegation threatened Bury at home.
The Cherries were made to work hard for the win over the League One strugglers. Brett Pittman scored for the third game in a row but they were stunned when Andy Bishop levelled for Bury.
Matt Ritchie scored his first Bournemouth goal since signing from Swindon in January to restore the lead early in the second half and two late goals made it three wins in a row to move them level on points with both Swindon and Brentford.
Yeovil Town will have been left wondering how they managed to throw two points away at struggling Carlisle United. Yeovil led 3-1 going into stoppage time but they then conceded twice, including the equaliser in the fourth minute of added time when Yeovil defender Luke Ayling somehow managed to divert the ball into his own net. The point sees Yeovil finish the day in the final play off place, three points behind Swindon and they could be leapfrogged in the table later today when Tranmere Rovers host Stevenage.
The sides looking to close in on a play-off place all missed the opportunity to put pressure on the sides in the top six.
Coventry City ended a bad week with a 2-0 defeat at Portsmouth. Coventry have a number of off-field problems with the club facing administration and the possibility of being kicked out of their home before the visit of Doncaster on Friday due to unpaid rent.
Coventry were made to pay after missing the opportunity to take an early lead when Gary McSheffrey saw his penalty kick saved. Jed Wallace fired the home side ahead shortly afterwards and Patrick Agyemang secured three points for Portsmouth in the second half as they moved off the bottom of League One.
Walsall and Leyton Orient were both held to goalless draws at Hartlepool United and Preston North End respectively and they are both three points off a play-off place.
League One now moves into the busy Easter period, with all clubs facing two games in three days as we enter the final month of the season with so much still to be decided.
Sheffield United face a busy final four weeks of the season, with nine games having to be crammed in and the likelihood of four games in a week, with the game with Brentford still to be rearranged.
