Sheffield United have completed the loan signing of Simon Lappin from Cardiff City.
The 30-year-old has joined the blades on an initial 28-day loan from the Premier League side.
Lappin brings a wealth of experience to Bramall Lane as well as versatility, with him able to play at left full back or the left side of midfield.
The Scotsman won promotion from League One and the championship during six years at Norwich City before joining Cardiff in January.
