Sheffield United midfielder Michael Doyle has missed out on the League One Player of the month after being shortlisted for the award.

The midfielder was in superb form for the blades during the month as they lost just two of their eight games as well as booking their place in the FA Cup semi-final.

Coventry City striker Callum Wilson won the award with Ronan Murray (Notts County) and James Tavernier (Rotherham United) were also on the shortlist.

The League One manager of the month went to Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett.
