Sheffield United have extended the contract of goalkeeper Danny Coyne for a further month.

Coyne has been at Bramall Lane since signing a short-term deal in November, acting as back up to George Long.

The experienced 39-year-old is acting as back up to Long with Mark Howard out injured since October.

Coyne hasn`t played a competitive game since playing for former club Middlesbrough in January 2012. He made 6 appearances last season for Boro before being released by the Riverside club at the end of last season.
