Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough says he may let Febian Brandy and Florent Cuvelier go out on loan.

The duo have struggled to break into Clough`s side since their arrivals this season, with United in good form and the blades boss says a loan move could be beneficial for everyone.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Post , Clough said, “We might look at letting a few go out. Febian and Flo included because, for one reason or another, we`re finding it almost impossible to get them out there on the pitch at the moment.

“But loans can be hugely beneficial for everyone. The idea behind that would be to give them some football, get them scoring some goals and give them the confidence they`ll need.

“It`s better for us too because, when we need them, they`ll be in better shape.”

Brandy has fallen down the pecking order since receiving his second red card of the season against Shrewsbury Town at the beginning of November.

He has made just two substitute appearances since.

Cuvelier has made just eight appearances since joining from Stoke City on transfer deadline day. His appearance against Tranmere Rovers over the festive period was his first appearance since Clough`s first game in charge in October.
