Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough says he is incredibly proud of his side after they made it ten straight wins with a 1-0 home win over Carlisle United.
Since the first week in February, United have gone from second bottom of League One to within eight points of a play-off place as well as book their place in the FA Cup semi-final.
The ten wins in a row, has seen them knock out three teams from a higher division in the FA Cup and they made it seven clean sheets in a row in the league, equalling a club record and Clough says he is running out of superlatives about his side.
Speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield, Clough said, “We are incredibly proud of what the players have achieved.
“To keep nine clean sheets in those ten games as well, you are almost running out of superlatives to describe how well the team has done.”
United won 1-0 thanks to a first half goal from Jose Baxter.
