Young Sheffield United winger Jordan Chappell has joined League Two side Torquay United on loan.

The 21-year-old has signed for the struggling gulls for the remainder of the season.

Torquay have won just one of their last seventeen games and now stand just two points above the relegation zone.

Chappell has made nine appearances for United, including three appearances this season, his last coming against Hartlepool United in December.

He has also had a brief spell on loan at Burton Albion this season. Chappell made four appearances for the brewers and he scored on his debut against Port Vale.
