Sheffield United have the chance to equal a club record when they travel to Stevenage on Saturday.

A clean sheet would be the seventh in a row, equalling the club record set in the 1970/71 season.

Young goalkeeper George Long has now gone 542 minutes since he last conceded a goal. The last goal the 19-year-old shot stopper conceded was a late consolation in the 2-1 win at Shrewsbury Town on February 9th.

United would surely sacrifice a clean sheet as long as they secured a crucial three points at Stevenage on Saturday, as they look to cement their place in the automatic promotion places.

The current squad will be hoping they can emulate the side of 1970/71, who won promotion to the First Division as runners-up.
