Sheffield United and Tranmere Rovers meet at Bramall Lane with both sides hoping to secure a crucial three points.

Both are just outside the relegation zone in League One and they both know a win today would give them some breathing space.

United made it eight games unbeaten when they drew 1-1 with Oldham Athletic on Boxing Day whilst Tranmere enjoyed a crucial 1-0 win at Shrewsbury Town.

SkyBet make the blades 7/10 on to take the three points this afternoon, Tranmere are 4/1 and it is 13/5 on the draw.

Goals continue to be a problem for Sheffield United with Jose Baxter the only player to score for them in the league this month.

Baxter netted his third goal in four games in the draw with Oldham and he is 9/2 to score the opener this afternoon.

Andy Robinson marked his return for Tranmere at Shrewsbury after a long injury lay off with the only goal of the game and he is 10/1 to open the scoring this afternoon.
