Sheffield United boss Gary Speed was left discouraged following the Blades 2-2 draw at the Walkers Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Blades saw a 2-1 lead lost in injury time, after a debatable penalty decision went against United, allowing Steve Howard to level the game for the Foxes.

The Blades started the game poorly, and were behind early on when Paul Gallagher put Sven-Goran Erikkson`s men in front, but two goals from Mark Yeates looked to be enough to send Speed`s men home with all three points.

However, when Yeates was adjudged to have handled a knockdown, Howard was given the opportunity much to the displeasure of the Blades manager.

‘To say I am frustrated is an understatement because instead of talking about three points and a great display we are talking about decisions. I feel sorry for the lads because they didn’t deserve that.

“It wasn’t a penalty, it was headed onto his chest and the ball was virtually out of play before the referee decided to give it.

About five minutes earlier he did something similar when Nyron Nosworthy won the ball cleanly but then the crowd’s reaction seemed to have an influence. I haven’t been into speak to the referee – I think he knows.

nited are back in action this Saturday, as they face Millwall, in what promises to be a tough away day as always for both the players and fans alike.
