It just goes to show what kind of positive atmosphere there must be around Bramall Lane right now.
If someone who has been what can best be described as a ‘bit-part player’ this season is still this happy to be around the club, rather than demanding a transfer request over a lack of playing time.
And should all go right this season, and we find ourselves in more competitions next season, then perhaps he’ll get the game time he deserves. Until then though, he seems to be happy with things the way they are for now.
I’m talking of course about Ben Osborn.
The 25-year-old, signed from Nottingham Forest last summer, hasn’t made many appearances this campaign, but judging by his recent interview with the club, he seems happy to be part of a great club, even if he isn’t getting much playing time.
“It’s a Club with a culture, and that can only be developed over a period of time. You can tell they’ve been together for two or three years.”
