Now, it has been announced Sky Sports have selected a United game as the trip to Middlesbrough for the game at the Riverside Stadium has been picked up for television treatment.

This game was originally scheduled to take place at their ground on Saturday 12th August at 3pm. However, following the Sky Sports selection of their August and September fixtures this one is among them.

As such it has been moved forward to the evening slot, still taking take place on the same day.

In order to accommodate the cameras the game with Middlesbrough, a first meeting since 2010 but also a third successive time – when in the same league – Boro are faced away in the opening month, will now kick off at 5:30pm.
