Sheff Utd’s game in hand comes against Scunthorpe, which will be the second meeting this month, on Tuesday in the game at Bramall Lane.

Victory, to follow up the win on Saturday against Port Vale, would strengthen our League 1 play-off bid – given that this is at home, and against a struggling side, the expectancy would be that we get all three-points!

Clough wouldn’t be expected to make many, if any, changes to the side following that one-nil win over Port Vale on Saturday.

Without any fresh injury or suspension concerns he could well name the same XI?

Scunthorpe are expected to make changed following defeat at Rochdale. Loanee John Lundstram could be one of those that comes in.

Victory would give us a little more ‘margin for error’ as things stands we’ve got very little of this if we don’t want to drop out of the play-offs, and this is a game we would be ‘expected’ to win, but will we?
