Sheff Utd are potentially at risk of dropping out of the play-offs if we can’t find a win or two, and fast! Port Vale come to Bramall Lane this afternoon with little to lose and potentially a lot to gain.

We need a win today and in order to get this we need to ‘start well’ – finishing well would also help! Click Here for Nigel Clough’s pre-match thoughts.

Chris Basham (suspension) can return having served his two-match ban after collecting 10 bookings.

The one-one draw with Walsall (Click Here) on Tuesday did see Jay McEveley (shoulder) come through the 90-minuites without reaction and Ryan Flynn (hamstring) made his return as a sub so both should be available today.

Port Vale could bring back Carl Dickinson and Byron Moore after they missed the defeat to Crawley on Tuesday. They aren’t thought to have any new injury concerns.

At present Preston are six-points off the play-off places so know they’ll have to win today to have any chance of forcing a way into the top six, if they can cut the gap on us to four-points they’ll feel we’re the side ripe for the picking!

How do you think this one will go?
