Sheffield United striker Jordan Robertson has been given a 32 month jail sentence following an accident on Christmas Day.
The striker who was recalled from a loan spell at Bury last week, has also received a five year ban from driving after he was adjudged to have caused death by dangerous driving.
The victim, Mr Mohamed 31, died in hospital on Boxing Day after the collision which was a result of Robertson ‘changing the song on his iPod’.
Whether the full sentence is served or not, it could see the premature end to a career that looked like taking off this season, with important goals for the Blades first team in pre season.
