It seems that Bryan Robson’s summer spending is not yet over, as he has now set his sights on an attacking midfielder.
Robson is hopeful of signing the player before the start of the season on Saturday, and told the official club site,
‘I am looking for an attacking midfielder, and if I can get him in by Saturday I think we’ll have done well to get the right balance in the squad.’
However, Robson has not dropped any hints on who his main target is and dismissed the rumours linking him with a move for Bolton’s Stelios,
‘He is a good player and of course I would be interested if a good player became available, but I haven’t spoken to him.’
