Result: Sheff Utd 4-1 Chesterfield

Sheffield United reclaimed second spot in the league one table to leapfrog Sheffield rivals Wednesday for the second automatic promotion spot.

With half time approaching, and the sides still level, Lee Williamson (38) looked to have given The Blades a half time lead but the bottom placed side stunned everyone at Bramall Lane with an equaliser on the stroke of half time from Franck Moussa (44).

The hosts came out all guns blazing and a penalty early in the half from Ched Evans (49) resorted Sheffield United’s lead. The striker added two more (60 & 63) to complete a 14-minute hat trick and ensure a 4-1 win.
