Sheffield United have signed Premier League midfielder Andy Reid on a short-term loan.
Reid, who has been missing from the Sunderland first team due to injury recently will use the time to regain match fitness, and hopefully boost the Blades’ league position.
The deal is currently for just one month, but could be extended to three under the emergency loan system.
He will join Nyron Nosworthy, currently with the Blades from Sunderland and could go straight into the squad for Saturday’s game against Coventry City.
