West Midlands referee, Andre Marriner will take charge of a Sheffield United fixture for the first time this season when the Blades entertain Nottingham Forest in the first leg of the Championship Play-Offs.
Sheffield United will host fellow Championship club Nottingham Forest in the first leg of the Play-Offs on Saturday (14th May), kicking off at 3:00 PM.
The Birmingham-born referee, aged 51, has taken charge of 19 Blades fixtures throughout his career, where he has issued 50 yellow cards and brandished 4 red cards. The last time he took charge of a Blades fixture was in May 2021, when United lost 4-0 at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
This season, he has taken charge of 26 league and cup fixtures and has produced 82 yellow cards as well as 3 red cards – averaging 3.15 bookings per game.
He will be joined by Assistants Simon Long, and Richard West, as well as Fourth Official; Kevin Friend.
