Lots of Blades fans have been reacting to one of the more famous moments in our recent history after it picked up an award.
It’s gone down as ‘The Bounce Day Massacre’, and is something that I’m pretty sure all Blades fans of this generation that witnessed it, either in person or on the television is never going to forget, and is never going to let any Owl fan they know forget about it.
@The_Bladesmen on Twitter have been running a series of polls on Twitter these past few weeks in which they have been trying to decipher which moment was the best in the Chris Wilder era since he took charge in 2016. And with a staggering 72% of the vote in the final, Mark Duffy’s goal to silence the Sheffield Wednesday fans at Hillsborough was voted as the best moment.
Is Mark Duffy's goal the greatest Blades moment of all time?
Yes
No
So any time that the moment can be brought up, Blades fans were always going to jump on it as a chance to reminisce fondly about the moment and how they will never get bored of talking about it.
I would literally pay a few grand to be in that stand that day.
