Premier League referee Mike Dean will be the man in charge when Sheffield United meet near neighbours Rotherham United to Bramall Lane on Tuesday night.

The North West official has taken charge of 32 games this season showing 115 yellow cards and 7 reds.

The 45-year-old has taken charge of Sheffield United on nine previous occasions with them winning three, drawing two and losing four.

His first game involving Sheffield United was a championship game against Sunderland in 2004. The blades won 1-0 with both teams finishing the game with ten men after United striker Andy Gray and Sunderland defender Gary Breen were shown straight red cards in the first half for an altercation.

You have to go back to May 2009 for his last game involving the blades when they were beaten 1-0 at Burnley.

He has taken charge of the millers on three previous occasions with them winning two and drawing one.

His first game involving Rotherham came way back in 2001 when they drew 0-0 with Coventry City at Millmoor whilst his last game was in December 2008 when they won 3-0 at Notts County.
