Which players make up the historical top 50 Premier League hotshots list?
With the October international window in full flow, here’s an update on the top 50 goalscorers in Premier League history since it rebranded back in 1992-93.
As you’d expect the vast majority of players listed have reached their tally at a number of different clubs across their careers, and whilst some names have the opportunity of building on their current totals, plenty are old faces who have long since hung up their boots.
In the more modern game, the surprise probably comes from the number of sole club represented players in the list as they certainly are a dying breed thesedays.
Scan down for the full list of 50 and to find out who were the most prolific and successful in the final third, and whilst some names will be no surprise to anybody – there’s a couple some might not have expected.
