The Blades host Michael Appleton’s Blackpool on Saturday afternoon, with United winless in their last three games, a win can see them get their early season form back on track and would see them remain at the top of the table.

The Tangerines are 19th in the league, losing three of their last five games, while more recently picking up 4pts in the other two, including a 3-1 victory against Watford last weekend. Former Blade, Gary Madine got on the scoresheet for the first time this season against Watford.

We took a look at a Blackpool FC forum as they preview their trip to Bramall Lane this weekend.

They aren’t in great form right now and to be honest, we were unlucky to miss out on boro with the cancellation when they were really struggling, maybe they still are somewhat, so about time we get some when they’re not fully at it. Either way, tough game but we showed some class yesterday and go there in full confidence.

My crystal ball tells me it will be a win, on the road, for the Pool.

Looking forward to it. A repeat of last year would be nice.

We can surely beat them. Can’t believe they are where they are in the league.

Bad time, think they’ve lost 2 on the trot, can almost be sure they won’t lose a third.
