The November nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Award are:

Albert Adomah (Aston Villa) – winger
Villa fans feared the worst when injuries struck their strikers. Adomah singlehandedly dispelled those worries with five goals in five games, relishing the task and tiptoeing through defences or sprinting beyond them to finish calmly.

Barry Douglas (Wolverhampton Wanderers) – wing-back
Three assists and a goal from a whipped free-kick in three games as a defender is outstanding. What made Douglas`s contributions even more valuable was that he either set up or scored the opening goal in every game he played.

Leon Clarke (Sheffield United) – striker
The footballing month of his life. The much-travelled striker displayed all his skill, impudence, determination and showmanship to score nine goals in just four games, which included a hat-trick against Fulham and all four goals against Hull.

Matej Vydra (Derby County) – striker
It has taken a few years but the lightning quick pace and surging confidence he demonstrated at Watford are back. So, too, are his reactions in the box – as demonstrated by a hat-trick at Middlesbrough, three of his five goals in four games.

Winners will be announced on Friday 8th December 2017.
