If Saturday’s game against fellow struggles Crystal Palace wasn’t big enough, the Blades go into tonight’s encounter at Glanford Park knowing they could end the evening second from bottom, eight points adrift of safety.

United can once again call on Rob Kozluk who is back from suspension, but it’s another full-back, Nyron Nosworthy who has spoken out ahead of the game:

‘Every game for me now is a must win. If not then we definitely can’t lose. We’ve just got to produce a good display at Scunthorpe and really go at them. We’ve got to aim to go the rest of the season unbeaten if we can. It’s not over. Not by a long way.

Nosworthy returned to the side on Saturday, replacing Ellian Parrino, and impressed at Selhurst Park despite the result, and was disappointed with how the game finished.

‘Losing (at Palace) was tough to take because, of all our recent performances, that was one of the best. Okay, we didn’t penetrate enough but everyone was doing their jobs, we were comfortable out there and were passing the ball well. We’ve got to do exactly the same thing again only this time finish with a goal.’
