One of United’s most standout players, Iliman Ndiaye, has picked up from where he left off at the end of last season.

The 22-year-old endured his first-ever senior season in the campaign. Throughout the season, his performances were good but the consistency in his touch, decision-making and ability to hold off the defender was as you’d expect from a youngster.

He ended last season scoring 4 goals in the final 5 games of the season, which put his goal tally to 7 in 23 starts in his first senior season.

This season, Iliman Ndiaye has vastly improved his weaknesses to a point where it looks as though there are simply no limitations to what he can do. His touch is now immaculate, his decision-making is on point and he is now shrugging defenders off the ball, not the other way around.

The Senegalese international has scored 4 goals this season and assisted once. His teammate, Oli Norwood has nothing but praise to say about the Senegalese star.

Norwood told the star:

“His personality comes through with the ball, because off the pitch he’s quiet. He’s a special talent but he’s got to keep producing and I’m sure he will. He’s a street footballer almost, he dribbles with the ball for fun.”

He expanded:

“Teams will probably start targeting him now,” Norwood added. “But that won’t stop him because if they put three on him, he’ll just go around them. And when they kick him, he just gets back up.”
