I was hoping for an away win at the weekend against Ipswich, but seems we weren`t able to find the net. United had more shots, more on target and more possession but still couldn`t find the net.
I saw that Duffy was out with a knock, and Lundstram and Ched were in the starting eleven. It`s good Ched gets game time, I just wish he got his goal scoring knack back like he did in the season when he was wrongly sent down. Maybe more game time and confidence will get him back to the old ways.
I was following the game on Twitter though sounded like Stearman was having a bit of a shaky match. I`m not sure where Wright`s disappeared to lately though. Some people were commenting that perhaps with the new signings that the team aren`t settling at the moment with so many changes to the first team. I know Coutts is still injured but surely someone can hold his position for a consistent length of time.
I thought we could gain the points from Ipswich though, not to worry, hopefully we can get back to winning ways tomorrow evening. We`ve a game in hand over the five teams above us, so to get maximum points tomorrow will go a long way in helping us push for the play-off places.
I`m hoping we get them as I`m due back around the time it comes to the play-offs, otherwise I`ll be having withdrawal symptoms from the lack of football over the summer!
Anyway, I`ll cross my fingers for tomorrow evening.
