League 2 side MK Dons took the Blades to extra time last night, before a goal from Geoff Horsfield saw the Blades through to the third round.
Paul Ince’s side took the lead after just 12 minutes through Drewe Broughton, before Chris Lucketti equalised eight minutes later from a header.
The away side took the lead courtesy of Nicky Law on 55 minutes, but MK Dons refused to lie down and grabbed an equaliser of their own in the 77th minute thanks to ex-Blade Jon-Paul McGovern.
The tie went into extra time before Geoff Horsfield grabbed his first goal for the Blades in the 104th minute to send us through to the third round.
