Gary Madine’s pending loan transfer from Premier League side Cardiff City to Sheffield United may not have gone down too well with Blades supporters, but over in Wales, the Cardiff fans have quite a different view.

We recently reported that a deal to sign Gary Madine from Cardiff City on loan for the remainder of the season, with a number of Blades supporters unhappy with thenews.

We checked out the Cardiff City Forum for their fans opinion…

“We should box clever with this deal.
They pay the wages
If promoted they are obliged to sign permanently for X amount. We may get most of our losses back if we agree a decent deal.”

“No way they will agree that. They will have seen how good he is in the premier league for us. To be honest I think they have just signed him as a back up if they get a bad injury crisis,we are lucky to get him off the wage bill for the rest of the season greedy to hope for more. Just a chance if he did get a few goals for them and they weren’t promoted they might buy him for the championship next season and pay his true value perhaps £500,000.”

“Would be a great move for him, us and Sheffield Utd if this came off. It hasn’t quite happened for him here as yet but I think a spell on loan would work wonders for him and if he does come back to us could prove the answer for the rest of his career. I hope so as I do like him. “

“I agree and a loan move would be spot on IMHO, as it gives the lad an opportunity to get back in the groove and any decision on his expensive future can be left to the summer when we will know in which league we will be playing in next season. Don’t recall anyone from inside the club questioning his commitment or attitude either?”

You’ve read the views from Cardiff City, but what do you think, why not comment below your thoughts on Madine’s impending transfer..

  • Hope not a player we really don’t need caused trouble with us blades .called Billy fat pig no respect for a fellow proffesional

  • Definitely don’t need a player with is attitude in the past towards Sheffield United and Billy Sharpe he’s a big time Charlie

  • Madine is out of his depth in the premier league . Best bit of business Bwfc have ever done. League one at best.

  • It’s not going to work out if he comes to us. I think it could cause a team and support revolt. The guy has only played less than an handful of matches for Cardiff and the headline says it all.

Cardiff paid £6 million from Bolton and in a headline ive just read that if he does end up with us Blades that price would drop to half a million.

He’s not the best thought of or choice for the club, Billy Sharp and most of all us faithful fan’s. With all the problems he caused and said plus going to prison and he still slagged us off.

Some fan’s might want him and the club to sign him, but i think the most majority of us won’t see or want it to happen, me personally, i hope he doesn’t end up at the Lane. They must be other fowards out there surely rather than this clown. Sorry.

We need a partner for Billy we all know that right, with that being said i just don’t see him being any sort of hope of building a partnership with the player he called a fat bastard not so long ago, and im sure Billy will be thinking same .
It’s a step backwards in a way of what the team needs more of and that’s putting ball in back of net, theirs other’s out there to look at. In the press it’s all about him saying he’ll come to Bramall Lane and not the club making a move for him.

To be brutally honest he’s a cheeky bastard for saying he wants to join us after all he’s said about us as a club.

Chrissy Wilder please don’t bring him into the club. It’s a crazy move to make and he’s not cutt it in the PL, we don’t don’t need that type of player joining the club. He’s making all the noise about wanting to join us not the club and most of all us faithful true bladesman through and through.
