It’s not au revoir just yet.
That seemed to be the message that Lys Mousset wanted to get across in a recent interview about his time at Bramall Lane.
Speaking last week with Paris-Normandie, the forward spoke about his time at Bramall Lane this season, and whether or not he has a future at the club. Having been missing from the squad for the last two games of the season, possibly due to a disagreement with head coach Chris Wilder (something Wilder has denied), it would certainly look like his time at the club might be over.
But the Frenchman seems to think nothing of that talk, insisting that he will be a Blade going forward:
“I think so yes. Either way, I’m happy over there.”
News that was greeted with much merriment amongst the Sheffield United fans on social media, who looked forward to seeing what he could offer in 2020/21, which will hopefully be more of a return than he managed this previous campaign.
Great news. If we can get this boy fit, focused and firing, he’s almost unplayable as Arsenal and Man United found out to their cost. He’s the only one of our forwards with that X-factor.

Some players make great impact coming off the bench and changing the game. Look at @Paul_Pesch. I dont think he ever played a full 90mins for #sufc but we idolised him because he made a difference

If we was a man u, city, Liverpool, every player would want us. For our fans, manager and club culture.
He won't wont to leave because he can see us improving his game, with the wilder effect— Benji Rutherford (@Ben_Rutherford9) July 31, 2020
